BayBridge is a community marketplace connecting you with local suppliers, community events and outreach initiatives in Our Valley, South Africa. You can browse and shop without creating an account. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

• Enquiries & trade requests: name, email, phone, address and your message.
• Orders: name, email, phone and delivery address so a local representative can hand-deliver your order.
• Supplier listings: business name, contact details and product information you choose to publish.
• Wastebin donations & claims: donor/claimer contact details and item location.
• Reviews: your name, email and review text.
• Optional account: if you are invited and sign in, your name and email.

We do not request sensitive personal data and we do not sell your information.

3. How we use your information

• To process enquiries, orders and deliveries.
• To connect you with the nearest local representative.
• To publish supplier listings and community events you submit.
• To send order confirmations and follow-up messages about your activity.

4. Payments

Payments are handled by our payment provider. Card details are never stored on BayBridge — they are entered directly with the provider during checkout. Transaction metadata is retained for record-keeping and support.

5. Sharing

We share details only as needed to fulfil your request — for example your delivery address with the assigned representative, or supplier contact details so they can prepare your order. We do not share your information for marketing by third parties.

6. Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal record-keeping requirements. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect it.

7. Your rights & account deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time. If you have an account, you can delete it directly from the Account menu in the app; this permanently removes your account. For any other data requests, contact us below.

8. Children

BayBridge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
